I got pulled over by a cop yesterday for speeding. I did not realize I was going 166 km/hr on the highway, it was empty but still no excuse for speeding. The policeman revoked my licence and fined me 50 k.d, I drove home shameless with just a yellow slip.
I feel terrible for my recklessnes but I'm very happy that the law is finally being enforced.
Let's hope the law's enforced with "tejar al iqamat" as well.

Get a radar ;P
i seriously dont know how tejjar el eqamat get away with it! i mean we went through hell to finish the paper work for our two sales persons ! we almost canceled the bookstore project all together because of how hard it was to get everything overwith! even if u get wasta for one thing there is always a next office u have to go to!( although personally i think its embarrassing to use wasta madree fee a kind of guilt that comes with it a funny feeling inside its like u dont deserve what u got although it is ur right!!!)
as for the speeding ticket.. i never got one but i bet it doesnt feel good at all! 160 km!! i havent been driving much for the past 4 years but since ive been driving again everybody is complaining that im too slow! i never reached 100 km yet lol madree the roads were not that intimidating the last time i drove!
Uh ohhhhh.
My dream is for them to stop all the drivers with babies hanging out of the window!
be careful next time and put ur cruise control on ...
wala tejar il iqamat shaghlat-hum shaghla ...
imkharbeen 3ala illi yamshy straight forward ...
midoe - hahaha just found out my girlfriend is the agent of the speed-o-meters.
Organic - E it's funny how when you go by the book here it works against you.
san fran - E car seats are non existant unfortunately.
Anonymous - chan zain it was cruise control, my foot was just too heavy on the accelerator.
I also hope the law's implemented with equal gusto for those who drive too slow in the fast lane. I am wondering can someone with a surname such as yours actually get pulled over for a traffic violation in Kuwait ?
